A man who falsely claimed more than pound;6,000 worth of benefits while working as a teacher has been suspended from a London secondary. Matthew Jolugbo was suspended from his science teaching post at Acton high school on Monday. While working at Acton, he falsely claimed pound;3,093.80 of income support and pound;3,672 in housing and council tax benefit. The 40-year-old pleaded guilty to benefit fraud and was sentenced to 160 hours community service and ordered to pay pound;400 costs.
