Teacher loses jail appeal

A teacher jailed for stealing GCSE exam papers to show them to privately-tutored students has failed in her bid to cut her three-month prison term. The Criminal Appeal Court refused to cut the sentence awarded to Farzana Akbar, of Motspur Park, Surrey, saying prison was inevitable for such a serious offence.
