In Construction Week this term, Let’s TWIST, a national team that aims to get Britain to “train women in science, engineering, construction and technology”, invited pupils from local schools to an event at Bradford College. Six of our Year 10 girls were keen to go along. Charlotte Wall (foreground) and Charlotte Mullaney were part of a great team that built a giant pyramid with wood and elastic bands, in a workshop encouraging participants to consider careers in engineering and allied professions.
