A national life-saving charity is to run a new training programme for teachers leading school trips in response to concerns that outdoor activity holidays could be phased out due to safety fears. The Royal Life Saving Society UK has introduced a two-day programme which provides teachers with the know-how to assess potentially dangerous water activities and equips them with life-saving skills.
