Intel Education’s new website helps pupils in Years 5 to 9 learn about the technology behind computers. The site is split into six topics: computers, circuits and switches, digital information, microprocessors, the internet, and technology and society. Each topic contains interactive lessons for pupils to access individually, and accompanying teaching materials. These are designed with US schools in mind, but UK teachers should also find them inspiring. The site is free for both schools and individuals.
