A new sex education programme which uses videos and role play is no more effective at reducing unwanted pregnancy than conventional approaches, according to a study. Researchers found the Share initiative, developed by the Medical Research Council and NHS Health Scotland, had no effect on outcomes, suggesting teen pregnancy was largely down to socioeconomic factors.
