SCHOOLS and youth groups are being offered grants of up to pound;15,000 to set up clubs for 11 to 16-year-olds. The money comes from a new pound;1.2 million Kids Club Network fund, which has been sponsored by Nestle.

Organisers hope the Make Space fund will help create a national network of clubs where teenagers can meet friends and take part in activities. Details are available from www.makespace.org.uk or 020 7522 6960.
