A new tennis performance programme is to be based at Scotstoun leisure centre, in Glasgow, to develop talented schools players and the appointment of a performance coach to deliver top-quality coaching to the best players is imminent.
Tennis West of Scotland and Glasgow City Council have joined forced for the scheme and a citywide tennis club will be set up using local authority and private facilities.
