Scottish Schools Tennis Cup holders Boclair Academy face St Columba’s High, Kilmacolm, in the opening round of the girls’ tournament, sponsored by Ritchie of Edinburgh, while Dollar Academy, last season’s runners-up, travel to Dundee’s Grove Academy. Kilgraston, Madras College, Dunblane High, George Heriot’s, Craigholme and Gryffe High have received byes through the first round, which must be completed by September 29.
