TES writer Karen Gold has won Epilepsy Scotland’s journalist of the year award for a feature article in which she explained how teachers can help and manage pupils who suffer with epilepsy. The judging panel, which included broadcaster Lorraine Kelly and crime writer Natasha Cooper, described the article, in May’s TES Extra: Special Needs newsletter, as outstanding.
