Great problems still have to be overcome before Dundee's community centres come to be seen as centres for popular education, says the report of Dundee University's extra-mural committee for 1969-70. It records the attempts to introduce classes at the centres on the request of the warden and says: "As on previous occasions, however, there was no response whatever."
