A vicar-turned-bestselling children's author was asked to leave Penair school in Truro, Cornwall, this week after using words like "bum" and "fart" in a talk to 12 and 13-year-olds. The school said it halted GP Taylor's talk after he made "offensive" remarks which had overexcited pupils. The author of Shadowmancer, a novel about Christianity and black magic, said he was shocked that his attempts to inspire youngsters had been deemed unacceptable.
