A fair-trade feast for your class

5th September 2003 at 01:00
Does your class deserve a treat? Tell us why and you could win a bumper box of Dubble bars from the makers of fair trade chocolate. Email friday@tes.co.uk and don't forget to give the name of your school. Our first winner this term is newly qualified Fiona Brady who had her final teaching practice this summer at St Mary's Catholic primary school, Poole, Dorset. She took a brilliant Year 5 class whose "persuasive writing" project focused on fair trade and resulted in a colourful display of adverts in the local supermarket. "They worked hard, were involved and enthusiastic," says Fiona, "making my teaching experience so rewarding." Go to www.dubble.co.uk for information on fair trade and how to be a Dubble Agent.
