Meanwhile, the BBC's Planet Earth series is the subject of a new interactive DVD game. It is aimed at players aged eight and over and has the same broad sweep as the David Attenborough-narrated programmes, taking in oceans, deserts, great plains, jungles and mountains.

Players can learn about the natural world and test their knowledge answering a range of questions based on footage from the television series.
