A-levels and Advanced Higher study about to be published

The Scottish Office is about to publish the results of a study which will establish equivalence between A-levels and the new Advanced Higher. The Education Minister believes it will "transform the debate" about entry to higher education, justifying direct entry for Scottish students into the second year of university courses along with A-level students.
