A new mountain bike trail in Carmarthenshire

6th October 2006 at 01:00
A new mountain bike trail in Carmarthenshire follows a 22km route through the beautiful Brechfa Forest with challenging climbs of up to 2,000 metres.

If you can assemble a half-term party of willing bikers, the five-star Gwili Mill, converted from one of the last working woollen mills in West Wales, can accommodate up to 13 people in seven bedrooms for pound;700 for a long weekend up to October 31. This works out at a rate of pound;18 per person per night. As well as a library-cum-music-room, the mill also has a games room with a full-sized snooker table. 01267 253308, www.gwilimill.co.uk.
