A new way to phone home

10th March 2000 at 00:00
Relations between boarding-school pupils and their parents may become closer, thanks to a prepaid phonecard. The First Class phonecard has voicemail so that parents can leave messages for their offsprig. It can also allow calls to be made to just one designated telephone number. The cards, developed by Class Systems and Unitel Communications, are delivered prepaid with pound;20 worth of calls.
