A oui competition

28th January 2011 at 00:00

Whitehill Secondary in Glasgow is already gearing itself up for the annual French drama competition run for schools by the Institut Francais d'Ecosse.

The school has taken part in Les Rencontres Theatrales for a number of years and in 2010 became a host venue for the first time.

The organisers were so impressed with Whitehill's recently refurbished theatre that they asked to come back.

Headteacher Louise Connor said: "We are delighted to be able to offer our facilities again." Schools taking part have to put on a 10-15 minute fully staged production in French.
