How can you help reluctant readers become ravenous readers?

The National Literacy Trust and www.lovereading4 schools.co.uk are working together to develop a list of books which have helped make children excited about reading.

Teachers and parents are being invited to submit their suggestions to the site, which will form the basis for a "master list", which will be categorised by age and gender.

The list will be available from the lovereading4 schools website at the beginning of the new academic year, along with free opening extracts. All the books chosen will also be available at a 25 per cent discount. Recommendations should be made by July 31 on the website.
