Advice service to be extended;In brief

A network offering advice to parents on bullying and exclusions is being extended nationwide through a pound;170,000 National Lottery grant.

The project offers training on education issues to established volunteers providing advice on other subjects to local people. It is run by the London-based Advisory Centre for Education, which already provides free advice and guidance to parents on state education via telephone helplines and regular publications.
