Agency enrols teachers' assistants

A LEADING teacher supply agency has launched a new division to provide teaching assistants to schools, following a Government announcement of funding for an additional 20,000 taching assistants by 2002. Select Education claims to be the first agency to offer such a service and has already registered more than 350 recruits.
