Aids pandemic

THE 13th international Aids conference, held in Durban, South Africa, learned that four million children have died of Aids in Africa out of a total of 19 million.

The United Nations Aids programme ays that up to half of all 15-year-olds in South Africa and Botswana can expect to die from Aids.
