Aim of the job

20th February 2004 at 00:00
Persuading young people to widen their thinking about careers is the task of the Aimhigher campaign from the DfES. A pack called Get into Higher Education provides a wealth of lesson plans for 13 to 16-year-olds that can be used with individuals or groups. Some ideas are about higher education, others help pupils relate their interests to what they will need to learn and others focus on money and other practicalities. The campaign also offers roadshow visits for schools. To order a free copy of the Aimhigher pack. Tel: 0800 587 8500
