(Photograph) - North Lanarkshire's education motto lives up to expectations as Michael O'Neill, the director, and Charles Gray, the education chairman, bask in the approbation of HMI which has given the authority an almost perfect pass rate for its performance.

Of the 11 indicators HMI uses to judge authorities, nine were rated very good and two good. None was fair or unsatisfactory.
