Children in Herefordshire now have the opportunity to learn African farming techniques.

Shortwood Farm, near Bromyard, is helping promote the work of the Send a Cow charity. It already demonstrates UK organic farming methods and children can try their hand at milking cows or feeding pigs and goats.

An African farmyard section features a cow shelter similar to those used in Send a Cow's programme in Uganda.
