The Scottish Claymores have linked with Glasgow City Council to provide after-school coaching in flag football for S1-S2 pupils in 10 local schools.

An inaugural Glasgow Schools Championship will be held at Scotstoun Stadium on Tuesday. The winners will get the chance to play other teams across the UK with the goal of competing in the World Flag Football Championships in Japan in August.

The Claymores also are offering players aged 14-19 places on their summer camp in Glasgow on August 11-14. Places cost pound;100. Contact Steve McCusker, tel 0141 222 3800.
