The National Football League is launching an advertising campaign in Britain in a bid to interest more schoolchildren in American football.

Several thousand advertising slots have been secured with television and radio stations throughout the country and the icons campaign will promote five of the most well-known players in the United States in the hope of attracting children to the sport.
