(Photograph) - Anthony Murray, a student at Falkirk College who works for UK Construction at BP's plant in Grangemouth, has won the Scottish heat of a nationwide skills competition for welders. He now goes forward to the national final in Cambridge next mnth, from which two finalists will be selected to represent the industry at the Manpower National Skills Festival in Birmingham in July. The overall winner will then go on to the Skills Olympics in South Korea in 2001. Photograph by TOM FINNIE
