Anti-smoking campaign from Active Designs' Unhealthy Organ Pack

9th March 2001 at 00:00
Trying to deter young children from the perils of smoking without being too graphic can be a tricky. Tell them about damaged lungs and it can seem a little abstract, but show them a photograph of diseased lungs (left) and you induce the yuck-factor. The Unhealthy Organ Pack from Active Designs overcomes both problems.

It includes fabric heart, lungs, liver and stomach and uses a variety f colours, textures and stuffing densities to show the internal damage smoking can cause. It also comes with printed and blank labels and teacher's notes.

The Unhealthy Organ Pack costs pound;28.50 + VAT from Active Designs, Unit 6, Home Farm Business Park, Whittlebury, Northamptonshire NN12 8XS. Tel: 01327 85 85 22. Email: Website:
