AoC presidency

David Collins and Robin Parkinson, principals of South Cheshire and Great Yarmouth colleges respectively, have been named as candidates for the first presidency of the Association of Colleges.

Mr Parkinson said: "I think it would be healthy for the sector to reflect on the role, which is a significant change. The difficulty has been trying to see how it would square with the day job." Nominations close on February 11.
