(Photograph) - Education and Employment Secretary David Blunkett defended the Government's record after a year in office when he addressed the South London Industrial Mission at Southwark Cathedral. He said Labour needed to do more to convince the deprived and excluded that they had not been forgotten, especially after the poor local election turn-out. Report, page 5.
