Art - Click here for creativity

16th April 2010 at 01:00

The Scottish Qualifications Authority's (SQA) new online art service is open for business.

Artwork from its extensive collection produced by students on art and design courses is now available for schools, colleges and other public- sector organisations to borrow for up to six months for use in local exhibitions or teaching resources.

Since 2006, the SQA has held exhibitions to promote art produced by students. It now has a substantial collection it wants other organisations to borrow to continue the promotion of creative Scottish talent and provide a practical teaching resource.

It intends to add new artworks to the online collection each year.
