Arts award up for grabs

AN award for schools providing excellent arts education was launched this week by the Arts Council for England. Artsmark, a similar scheme to the Sportsmark, is aimed at celebrating success in art and dsign, music, drama and dance. To achieve an Artsmark, schools will have to prove that pupils have access to a broad range of art lessons.
