A new website is being launched this week to promote the visual and performing arts.

Aimed at students and professionals, will include arts news, exhibition calendars for galleries and museums around the world, and educational content for children. It will also publicise links between the arts and science.

The news section appears online today with the rest of the site available from the autumn.
