Arts window of opportunity

30th June 2006 at 01:00
I would like to thank you for using the photograph of our new stained glass window on the front of the TESS last week.

This window was the end product of a project, Artistes in Initial Teacher Education, by students on our BEd primary (hons) course.

On behalf of the expressive arts staff in the faculty of education, I should like to thank Scottish Arts Council for funding the project with a grant.

Hopefully feedback from this project will create an evidential base to support an increased emphasis on expressive arts in Scottish primary schools.
