Assembly of the week

Go on a galactic journey for World Space Week (4-10 October) with peekay72's space assembly script. Pupils play the role of celestial bodies as they show their peers the order of the planets in the solar system.

The assembly is based on the acronym Space (solar system, planets, axis, constellations, exploration) and gives pupils a scientific and historical introduction to the worlds beyond our atmosphere.

Prepare for World Space Week by encouraging pupils to create images or models of planets and stars. Use these to decorate the hall.
