Assembly of the week

Climate Week

Mark Climate Week (4-10 March) with a video and assembly that highlight this important issue and introduce your pupils to the Climate Week Challenge.

Climate Week is a national campaign to inspire a new wave of action on climate change. It involves thousands of events and activities to showcase practical ways of combating climate change and ideas for how we could create a low-carbon future.

Use the challenge to get teams of pupils to research climate change and come up with creative solutions to some of the problems posed. Why not allocate them some time to organise their own awareness-raising event?
