Assembly of the week

St Patrick's Day

St Patrick's Day (17 March) celebrates the patron saint of Ireland and Irish culture with feasting, music and dancing. Twotone1's assembly looks at St Patrick and discusses setting goals and how other patron saints can help. This assembly is popular, as it requires a box of chocolate coins.

Why not ask pupils to each find out one thing about either the legend of St Patrick or Gaelic culture in Ireland and around the world?
