Assembly of the week

The modern Good Samaritan

Kariuk101 has shared a pupil adaptation of the Good Samaritan bible story.

The short play follows a man who is mugged for his bus pass and needs money to get home. Teachers, rich people, a business person and a jogger all pass by, ignoring the man or refusing to help. When he sees three teenagers wearing hoodies he feels certain they won't stop. But he is wrong.

The story helps pupils to think about prejudice and encourages them to be charitable towards others. Find it at: bit.lyGoodSamaritanAssembly
