Assembly of the week - Friendship

2nd November 2012 at 00:00

If friendship cliques are developing and you've spotted pupils who are feeling left out, try an assembly about friendship from ozsubrosa.

It includes inspirational quotes, such as "A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out" (Walter Winchell) and "A friend is one who knows us, but loves us anyway" (Jerome Cummings).

Start your assembly by showing pupils the quotes. Then ask them how they can be good friends to the people they spend time with: their best friends, school peers and family.

For an assembly for every day of term, try the TES Assembly a Day collection.
