Scotland has a strong under-15 girls' team for the annual schools' Pentathlon International against England, the favourites, Ireland and Wales in Glasgow tomorrow.

Three of the Scottish quartet - Jade Halket (Ellon Academy), Rachel Spencer (Banchry Academy) and Staci Stewart (Claremont High) - were in last year's team. Gemma Nichol from Queen Anne High joins them.

In the boys' events, Merchiston Castle's Matthew Thompson is keen to improve on the bronze medal he won last year.
