Kinross High pupil Eilidh Child put on an impressive performance at the East District Athletics Championships at Meadowbank when she won the under-17 300m hurdles race in 43.6 seconds.

Eilidh, who was in the Scottish schools team for the recent schools international meeting in Dublin, is emerging as one of Scotland's brightest athletics prospects.
