Scottish Schools' Under-17 cross-country champion Samantha Marshall (Balwearie High school, Fife) set a personal best time of 5 min 15.5 sec to finish first among the girls in the Pitreavie AAC 2000 oe-mile race series.

The Mile-ennium series offers runners of any age a chance to see how fast they can run a mile. The next meeting will be held at Pitreavie in Dunfermline on June 13.
