MAKING IT A SUCCESS. Practical Strategies and Worksheets for Teaching Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. By Sue Larkey. Foreword by Tony Attwood. Jessica Kingsley. pound;12.95

This book provides tried and tested clear strategies on how to teach students successfully with autism spectrum disorder. It also provides photocopiable worksheets and practical activities that will help improve their social skills, reading, writing and behaviour.

Although this book is aimed at helping children with autism spectrum disorder, the strategies and ideas suggested will be helpful with many children who have other special educational needs (especially obsessive compulsive disorder, attention deficit hyperactive disorder or pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified). It is user-friendly and accessible. It is ideal for time pressured teachers and teaching assistants who need to be informed about complex difficulties in simple terms.
