NOMINATIONS open this week for awards to be presented during Adult Learners' Week next May.

One of last year's winners Megan Price, 55, from Dorset, fulfilled a lifetime's ambition by going to study at Oxford where she is in the second year of an archaeology and anthropology degree.

The organisers are looking for people whose experiences could inspire others. Further information is available from NIACE on 0116 204 4200.
