Bac goes further

The Welsh baccalaureate will be rolled out to a further 45 schools, FE colleges and providers from this September, bringing the total to 76 centres Wales-wide. Bids from all secondary schools in Newport and Anglesey were successful due to their "excellent example of partnership", it was announced. Three-quarters of all of Wales's FE colleges will offer the bac from this autumn.
