Back on the treadmill

20th February 1998 at 00:00
"We have finished on one treadmill only to start on another" was one official said contemplating the council's next move.

The council will have to build extensions at St Andrew's, Cleveden, Hyndland and Eastbank. Knightswood primary will be removed from Knightswood Secondary so the space can be used for secondary accommodation.

The closure of St Augustine's will require independent heating systems for St Augustine's primary and Milton community nursery, which are integrated into the secondary school's heating system.
