Backyard safari

PARENTS and teachers are urged to take nine to 12-year-olds on a "wildlife safari" in their own neighbourhoods. Backyard Bio-dversity Day on Thursday (June 21) has been put together by the charity Action for Biology in Education and te Chelsea Physic Garden. Information can be found on The JulyAugust issue of TES Primary, on sale from Thursday (pound;2), also features a poster on endangered great apes and life in the rainforest.
