Badminton Scotland, the sport's governing body, has developed a Badminton into Primaries programme, funded through Sportscotland, which involves pupils receiving coaching in school time and a mini-festival.

"The aim is to encourage setting up lunchtime and after-school clubs and also to increase affiliations," explains Jill O'Neil, development officer for the sport.
