Bag a box from Bettys

Thanks are usually thin on the ground for the admin team at Northamptonshire LEA's children and families inclusion unit. Mary Twidell, area co-ordinator, says the small team of five are the unseen heroes who oil the statutory wheels. They work with all 107 schools in the area, exude unending patience, humour and understanding, but receive only "the occasional bouquet". A month's supply of deliciously spicy ginger cake and Yorkshire tea from Bettys and Taylors, worth around pound;80, is on its way.

Bettys and Taylors is a traditional family business based in North Yorkshire that specialises in high-quality foods, such as superb handmade cakes and chocolates, fine teas, exclusive coffees and tasty luxury biscuits. You can order online for delivery anywhere in the UK and beyond.
